Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the onion and garlic, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until onion softens. Stir in the semi-dried tomatoes .Add the dip and reserved cooking liquid and stir until heated through.
