2 tbsp Olive Oil
Onion
1 small Onion finely chopped
Garlic
clove Garlic 3-4, finely chopped
Tomatoes
2 Tomatoes 28 ounce cans crushed
Red Wine
0.250 cup Red Wine
Sugar
1 teaspoon Sugar granulated, optional
Basil
2 tablespoon Basil chopped fresh, or 2 teaspoon dried
Oregano
1 tablespoon Oregano chopped fresh, or 1 teaspoon dried
Parsley
1 tablespoon Parsley chopped fresh, or 1 teaspoon dried
Salt And Pepper
Salt And Pepper to taste

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and stir for about a minute then add garlic and stir just until garlic and onion turn translucent but not brown.

Turn heat down to medium-low and add crushed tomatoes, red wine, sugar (if using), basil, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Stir well and cook until heated through. Then simmer on low until ready to serve.
